NYX Powder Blush in Peach

NYX, Milani and ELF Studio are some of my favorite pocket-friendly blushes. Although, when I ordered the NYX Powder blush in "Peach", I was kinda hoping it would be more peachy than pink. Its more of a super light rose that has an almost matte finish to it. It does look quite light on me which also makes it natural-looking. This shade would look great on all skin-tones and although the color leans towards the lighter side, the coverage is totally buildable. This subtle shade can be layered over any color co-ordinating cream blush to boost the staying power of either.

The packaging is decent and I din't have any mishaps like the lid opening up and blush spilling all over the place. The transparent top makes color identification a lot easier. Pigmentation wise, I think all NYX blushes are amazing.
The only problem I have with these are the little amount of fall-out they have. I wish they came with a small mirror for touch-ups.

They are friendly on the pocket ($6) and have a ton of great shades to choose from.

Have you tried NYX Powder Blushes? What are your favorite shades? I'd love to know!

Available online at cherryculture.com and nyxcosmetics.com.

  6. @Tanveer - I like their cream blushes a lot but, sometimes feel they disappear too soon. So, this is great to lock the cream blush in place :)

  8. @Bhumika - Not similar to Briar Rose although, the swatch does. This is more yellow-toned and briar is more blue-toned I think. In fact, sweet rose from this post compares well to briar http://beautyblogofakind.blogspot.com/2010/10/cant-stop-lovin-milani-minerals-powder.html

  10. I love NYX blushes, but I hate the fall out too much. And they are too pigmented for my taste, I think. I am so used to not having to worry about looking like a clown with my MAC Sheertone blushes that I forget to dust off the brush. I have silky rose and though I love the shade, I can't deal with it the super pigmentation.

  11. I see a lot of complaints on the fall out but, I actually don't mind it thaaat much. Not comparing it to MAC though. And yes, they are mighty pigmented so I'd be careful esp with the darker shades :)
