My thoughts on MAC Sheertone Blush in Sincere & Swatches

MAC Sheertone blush in Sincere is one of those blushes that looks blah in the pan but looks totally gorgeous once applied.  I went to the MAC store to just pick up Gingerly but, the MUA asked me to try Gingerly on one cheek and Sincere on the other since she thought Sincere would look better on me. Had I not tried, I would have never picked this shade up. I LOVED the way it looked on me and immediately changed my mind from Gingerly to Sincere. Although, I might also get Gingerly sometime later.
This is a shade that will look amazing especially on medium skin tones and is totally work-safe. If blush and bronzer had a baby, it would look like Sincere. It's that perfect color which adds a nice glow and some warmth at the same time. MAC describes this shade as a Muted Beige/Coral. I would say it's more of a tanned peach.

If you are looking for an everyday blush that needs very less effort and looks amazingly natural, this is a must-have.
Let the blah-ness in the pan not fool you from picking this up. It's a gorgeous shade and one of my favorite blushes from MAC.

Have you tried MAC Sheertone Blush in Sincere? What is your favourite blush from MAC? Do share!

  1. I want sincere so bad. I have gingerly, I don't absolutely love it. I like it, but its not OMG so freaking gorgeous. Its good for everyday. Look into coppertone, it is also a gorgeous everyday color.

  8. The first and ONLY MAC blush that I have! I love it so much that I have hit pan on it!!! You are right - very blah in pan but gorgeous on skin. Another great one to try is Melba or Peach Melba - can't remember.
Also, I think Gingerly is a little darker isn't it?

  9. Wow that's nice, Scarlett! This one is really flattering, right? Gingerly was a tad darker. I'll check out Melba next time.

  10. I was recommended Gingerly awhile back and technically that's my first MAC blush. I did pick up blushcremes before they were discontinued. I have Lilicent and Laidback. Those are kind of fun to apply. Lilicent is quite sheer on me but I like it for work and for days when I don't want to look like I spent too much time in front of the mirror. In MAC's PRO store you can get powder blush in Clove, which is a darker version of Coppertone. I use that too, sometimes.

  11. I'll check out Clove but is it too dark? The nearest pro store is 30 miles so, I'll have to wait a while. I kinda liked Gingerly but, since I have this, I might not get it anytime soon. :) I am planning to try the new creme blend ones sometime.

  12. Oh I love Melba.. Its very difficult to pick a favourite.. But Melba looks gorgeous! I really want to try this now! I have a HUGE list of the blushes I want to own.. Appu, the MUA here told me you can keep a powder product for as long as the texture doesn't change or it wont smell bad.. There is no expiration.. I don't know.. what do you think?
