L'Oreal The One Sweep Sculpting Blush Duo - Review, Swatches & Photos

L'oreal has been doing a lot of multi-tasking products lately right from the double ended eye pencils to the "one sweep" eye shadows & blushes. The One Sweep Sculpting Blush Duo($12.95), as the name suggests is a blush/brozer combo that comes with a special brush that claims to sculpt, contour and define in a single sweep.

L-R : Nectar, Flush

L-R : Nectar, Flush

The colors look very promising and beautiful in the pan. The blush and bronzer shades are very well co-ordinated that the colors will look gorgeous even when used individually. These duos are very sheer as far as pigmentation goes and need more than just one sweep for the colors to show up. The "one sweep" of color when used with the accompanied brush is very sheer so, after a couple of sweeps, the colors show up but, the lines need a little blending to make the contouring job look natural. In a way, I think the sheer nature of the blushes make the blending job easier. If these were more pigmented, it would be very time consuming to blend the colors in when used with the applicator. They blend in very well though. The packaging is very sturdy and the mirror comes in handy for touch-ups. With a good primer underneath, these blushes stay on for about 4-5 hours on me.

Nectar

Flush

Overall, I wish these were more pigmented since the colors look great as individual shades and I would not suggest counting much on the one sweep applicator. If you like very sheer blushes, then these are a good pick especially since the blush/bronzer duo colors in each pan complement each other very well.

What do you think of the One Sweet Sculpting Blush Duo?

  11. I have tried this product and love it. But I don't use as recommended. I use my own brush and I think if you blend it based on your desire/skin. Quality product but it does go fast as need a a lot for it to show up. But once you have it on stays like a very expensive product.
