Pacifica 7-Free Nail Polish in Afterglow

Pacifica's new line of 7-free nail polishes ($9; pacificabeauty.com) come in 25 new shades ranging from light pastels to dark metallics and are formulated without parabens, phthalates, toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin. Afterglow is a peachy coral cream sans any shimmer or glitter. *Press Sample

Afterglow, while not the most opaque in one coat, completely covers in two. The consistency was just right - not too thick or thin and no bubbling or streaking either. Its quite glossy on its own, but I added a top coat for longevity. The brush is a tad on the thinner side, a little too thin even for my small nails so I had to go over my nails a few times, which was my only qualm. The color is quite bright, without being neon and is quite close to some of my summer favorites like Dior's Bouquet and Butter London's Trout Pout. Afterglow lasted about 3 days on me with a little bit of tip wear and chipping soon after. Overall, nice formula, quick dry time and beautiful color, I just wish the brush was a tad more wider - it still is easy to work with, but can get tricky sometimes.
